National Trails Day! June 1st, Kelly multi-use Trails Project

i May 28th No Comments by

Join the entire Flagstaff trails community in the annual celebration of trails!

This year we will be working on the Kelly Multi-use Trails project. This trail system will include 52 miles of single track trail between Lake Mary Road and Munds Park when completed that will be open to motorcycles, mountain bikes, equestrians and hikers. A substantial addition to the Flagstaff area trail system!

This will be the first National Trails Day on the Coconino National Forest on a trail open to the Coconino Trail Riders motorcycle club. Our club and it’s members have been responsible for the creation and/or maintenance of some of our favorite trails, (some now closed to motorcycle use), like Schultz Creek, Secret, Upper and Lower Moto and more.

i May 5th No Comments by

Hello, just an early reminder about Trail Day, When the good folks at the Overland Expo heard we were having a Trail Day on the same weekend as their Mormon Lake event (Thanks Sam).

They offered up FREE admits to all that Volunteer for work on our May 18th date. So not only do we get to build New single track trail, we also score lunch, a CTR T-Shirt, a Rocky Mountain Race Gas Card and a chance to see some pretty cool things at the EXPO. This just keeps getting better and better.

We will be working off Lake Mary Rd and Frontier, near 3 E and 867 A there will be signs.

Start time 8:30 am

Thanks, see you there
