We are trying a new streamlined agenda to get through the main news items and then let folks get together into small groups to discuss issues near and dear to their hearts (racing, dual sport, 2 stroke versus 4 stroke, boxers or briefs…). So, if you haven’t been to a meeting in a while because you found it to be tedious and long winded, please show up on Tuesday and help us refine this concept so we can keep everyone engaged.
And, please, mark your calendars for the trail days this year. We put some very aggressive volunteer match hours into the grants this year and need lots of hands at all the trail days you can make. Thanks!
For those of you who get the members magazine, check out the article on Trail Stewards and Trail building including the interview with past president Warren Williams. Good stuff – without trail work, we would be riding the roads……..
Want to be a part of building even more new moto trail AND you are available during the week? Have we got an opportunity for you!
We’re poring over maps, getting ready for another great Mountain Madness Dual Sport event. The AMA national DS series is sponsored by Beta this year. Mark your calendars for July 14, 15, 16. We look forward to seeing you there!
Itching to get your hands a mcleod? a pickmatic? a good ole shovel? Come join us on the CTR trail days. Please check out the Events section for the details. The dates are 5/13,6/3 (National Trails day), 6/24,7/22,8/19, 9/16 and 10/14.
There are some tentative dates for trail dates in Cornville; 3/8, 3/18, and 4/15. Stay tuned.
Matt Eberhart, the assistant OHV coordinator for AZ State Parks will be joining us. He will be giving an Ambassador training on Saturday the 17th – location to be determined.
If you are interested in being an OHV ambassador, please plan on attending.

Well, our members may not make it to the pages of Dirt Rider or MX Action. But, Frank (love him or hate him, the guy who laid out the A & B loops for the Flagstaff Mountain Madness Dual Sport) just headed up the project to re-coat the 14 foot mirror at the Discovery Channel telescope. With that kind of eye to detail, no wonder the GPS tracks were so good! And you thought your job was out of this world?!
