Well, our members may not make it to the pages of Dirt Rider or MX Action. But, Frank (love him or hate him, the guy who laid out the A & B loops for the Flagstaff Mountain Madness Dual Sport) just headed up the project to re-coat the 14 foot mirror at the Discovery Channel telescope. With that kind of eye to detail, no wonder the GPS tracks were so good! And you thought your job was out of this world?!
We have a very important mission tonight, to finish off the beer left over from the Dual Sport event. 6:00 pm at the State Bar on Rte 66 in downtown Flag. Be thirsty and bring a growler. Oh, and we’ll discuss club business too……
Perfect weather, great trails, good food, cold beer, and new riding buddies – the perfect recipe for a great weekend. Thanks to everyone who helped make the ride a success! Stay tuned for pix.
So, weekend looking busy? You can come join us for Saturday and still have Sunday to do all the weekend stuff. Join us for all 3 meals, a raffle ticket, event gift and fun. Go to event Brite and scroll to the bottom of the ticket options to sign up for 1 day for only $90.00
Jilene Oakley and Chandra Jade scored silver and gold respectively at the Idaho City ISDE qualifier on June 4th and 5th. With temps up in the 90s and a super tough dusty course, these women kicked some Idaho silt! Go Jilene and Chan! (they cleaned up for the picture)
C’mon – you know you want to come to Flagstaff and ride! Here’s the scoop:
See you there!
Fort Tuthill county park has both tent and RV camping. Camping reservations are going fast, you can check out the availability at http://campforttuthill.com/fort-tuthill-reservations/
The club has also reserved the overflow camping area. This is a no-frills set-up – no fire rings or picnic tables but still close enough to the bathrooms and event site. It can accommodate tents, campers, and RVs. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to camp but there are no sites left.
