Requirements

  1. This is a dual sport event, which means you need a STREET LEGAL motorcycle. That means registration, proof of insurance, a headlight, license plate, and a mirror.
  2. This is an AMA event, which means your bike must pass an AMA sound check.
  3. USFS Spark Arrestors required. No exceptions.
  4. Arizona OHV decal required.
  5. Fuel range is 70 miles.
  6. Provide your own navigation device and pre-load tracks BEFORE the event.
  7. The weather could be hot, or it could be cold, rainy, and extremely muddy. Plan accordingly.

Get ready for the 2026 Mountain Madness Dual Sport Ride! This year features a brand-new setup designed to get you on the dirt faster and keep the stoke high all weekend.

What’s New for 2026

  • New Base Camp:  We’ve moved closer to the trailheads! Enjoy a new venue with plenty of room for onsite camping.
  • Fresh Dirt: All-new routes through new county. Less pavement, more pristine Northern Arizona backcountry.
  • The Saturday Experience: A remote forest lunch stop to keep you fueled mid-ride, followed by free adult beverages back at camp to celebrate the day’s miles. After the day’s ride we’ll have dinner, drinks, and raffle prizes.
  • One Free T-Shirt (until 5/28)

Included Meals

  • Saturday: Breakfast, Remote Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Sunday: Breakfast.

Lodging
We have discounted rooms available at Basecamp. We have 5 singles and 5 double rooms. Secure yours.

Refund / Cancellation Policy
This event is held on United States Forest Service (USFS) lands. As such, the event is dependent on the forest remaining open and accessible. If the USFS closes and/or restricts access to the forest for fire restrictions or any other reason, the event may be postponed or canceled.

  • Up to May 26, 2026: Full 100% refunds will be issued for any cancellations or if the event is canceled/postponed.
  • After May 26, 2026: No refunds will be issued. Instead, your entry will be transferred to the next scheduled event, which will be held either in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
